Early childhood experiences can strengthen or disrupt a child's social, emotional, and mental well-being. Thus, it is important to establish sound emotional and mental health early in life for children to have a strong foundation that supports them in all other aspects of their development. The NCAPM 2022 live event reinforced the Administration's commitment to fostering healthy well-being during the critical infant, toddler, and pre-school years as a proactive, prevention approach that promotes positive long-term outcomes for children and their caregivers.
